The problem
The staff exist. The housing doesn't.
Positions stay empty not because people can't be found, but because there is nowhere for them to live — especially on the islands, where housing is absorbed by short-term rentals.

The legal framework
Housing outside the hotel is now expressly permitted.
Joint Ministerial Decision 153/2026 (Government Gazette B΄95, 15/1/2026) expressly permits housing staff in separate buildings, within roughly 10 km of the hotel, provided minimum specifications are met. Failure to meet them carries penalties.

You close directly with them
The tenancy is signed between you and the owner. home.gr is not a party to it and takes no percentage of the rent.
What we look at in properties
Structured details, not descriptions.
Every listing on home.gr has specific fields instead of free text. That lets you check quickly whether a property fits the decision's specifications, before you even see it.
The details are declared by the owners.
home.gr does not certify and does not check properties' compliance. Final compliance with the framework in force is certified by you, with your own engineers and advisers, before signing.
- Location and distanceThe property's area, so you can work out the distance from your premises.
- Floor area and layoutTotal square metres, number of bedrooms, floor — the figures that determine how many people fit.
- EquipmentKitchen, washing machine, heating, air conditioning, internet — declared one by one.
- Duration and availabilityFrom which month to which, so it matches the opening and closing of the season.
- Final priceRent together with shared charges and standing costs, as on every listing on the platform.
- Open to corporate tenancyWhether the owner accepts a tenancy with a business as counterparty, with invoicing.
Pricing
A season subscription. Not a percentage of the rent.
You pay once for the season and not every time you close a home. We have no incentive for the rent to go up.
