Electronic lease declaration in 15 minutes.

The Lease Information Declaration on myAADE, step by step — what to prepare beforehand and what happens after you submit.

Updated 6 August 2026
Short answer

The lease is filed electronically on myAADE, under Lease Information Declarations. With your details ready it takes about 15 minutes — and it is finalised when the tenant accepts it with their own credentials.

For leases of 60+ days Requires a valid EPC

For information only, based on the current framework — confirm your own case with your accountant.

Before you start

Gather five things.

Half the time it takes to submit is searching. With these in front of you, the 15 minutes work out.

  • TAXISnet credentials — your own, as owner or lessor.
  • The tenant's ΑΦΜ — and their full name as it appears in the registry.
  • The property's ΑΤΑΚ — you will find it on your Ε9.
  • A valid EPC number — a required field for homes. Don't have one? Read the EPC guide.
  • Term and rent — as you agreed in writing, with start and end dates.
Step by step

Submitting, screen by screen.

Sign in to myAADE

With your personal TAXISnet credentials, from a computer or your phone.

Open «Lease Information Declarations»

You will find it under Applications. Click «New declaration».

Fill in the property

ΑΤΑΚ, address and type of lease (residence). The details must match your Ε9.

Lease and tenant details

Start and end dates, monthly rent, the tenant's ΑΦΜ. This is where a written agreement pays off: you copy, you don't remember.

Enter the EPC number

For homes it is a required field — without a valid number the declaration will not go through.

Submission and receipt

Check the summary and submit. Save the submission receipt (PDF) — that is your document.

After you submit

Three more things.

  • The tenant accepts — they sign in to their own myAADE and accept the declaration. Remind them: without acceptance it stays pending.
  • Keep the receipt — together with the written agreement, it is all you need for a bank, a utility or a dispute.
  • Made a mistake? It can be fixed — with an amending declaration, from the same place. At the end of the term or on early termination, you declare the termination of the lease in the same way.
Mini-FAQ

The fair questions, before you ask them.

Does an accountant have to do it?

Not necessarily — the declaration is designed for the lessor to file. But if your accountant already manages your properties, they can file it.

The tenant has no Greek ΑΦΜ?

They will need to get one — at the tax office or online. Start it early: it is the step that most often delays tenants from abroad. Confirm the process with your accountant.

When does it have to be submitted?

By the end of the month following the start of the lease — but don't leave it: with your details ready it is an afternoon's work. Confirm the deadline for your own case with your accountant.
